What If?

I have found this question immeasurably valuable in allowing me to create more interest and excitement in my life. If we have one thought in mind and then reverse the direction of the thought while adding new perspectives, we are able to access the part of our creative mind that offers the most benefit for original thought! Every artist I have studied has used this imaginable tool to access realms of the imagination that may be new to us!

When you think of it, every situation has a counterpart that offers new perspectives on the original theme and understanding. How could we possibly run out of ideas when applying this tool to our imaginative tool box!

It’s helpful to remember to involve all of our senses. What if something sounded more staccato, or dreamily relaxed, or wildly exciting? What if I could take this color scheme and add a bright contrasting splash of color to it to make it pop and emphasize my focal point? What if I could add some rough textured paper to this collage and add additional depth and dimension? What if I imbued meaningful symbols to add hidden layers of meaning for “those who have eyes to see”?  The ways to explore and create so much more interest in your work and life are endless, just like our possibilities!

I have worked my hardest never to be bored ever since I was a child. I knew the world was my playground if I had the energy to explore and create what I wanted to do and see! I also feel I have retained that child-like wonder and enthusiasm to experience new and different adventures and wonderous possibilities! It is so important to do this!

In the years ahead, our ability to create will be exponentially enhanced beyond our present understanding. How exciting is that! I truly want to be here for this grand explosion of possibilities and expanded understandings. But right now, we have to do the preparation by expanding our present world in new and previously unexplored ways!
